Jana Carrington is the resident veteran at KCP headquarters. This may be attributed to either her career in the United States Coast Guard or the respect she garners from her colleagues and the firm’s investors. Jana oversees the firm’s accounting functions including financial reporting, compliance and external audits while also serving as a primary relationship manager for KCP's investors. In 2001, Jana was deployed for Operation Noble Eagle and again, two years later, for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Following her time overseas, Jana was introduced to compliance as a Senior Executive in the Coast Guard where she supervised strategic development and management of the federal government installation. Her more pleasant Coast Guard memories include rescuing sea turtles from tangled fishing line and saving manatees from errant bails of narcotics. Following eight years of military service, Jana managed the accounting and marketing for Proctor Construction, the largest construction company on Florida’s Treasure Coast.
In accordance with her love of marine life, Jana's true love is any destination with a sandy beach. She and her family have sailed throughout the Caribbean in search of the perfect sunset.
