Although Cole Coss is unable to purchase a lottery ticket without proper identification, his ability to underwrite the purchase of distressed properties with complex debt scenarios is anything but juvenile. Since joining KCP in 2016, Cole has overseen the workout and disposition of over 1,000 of the firm’s REO properties. Cole is responsible for asset management and acquisition underwriting, as well as zoning and entitlement efforts for KCP’s REO portfolio. Additionally, Cole assists in the management of KCP’s acquisition strategy for primary and secondary market tax lien certificates.
After graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University with a B.S. in Finance, Cole joined KCP as an investment analyst. His persistent yet easygoing nature immediately endeared him to colleagues, vendors and municipal employees alike. He currently focuses on targeted acquisitions in Orlando and throughout Central Florida. The transition to the Florida lifestyle has been seamless for the North Carolina transplant. The high school golf star can be found on the links to supplement the lost income from his irresponsible lottery spending. He is also deathly afraid of turbulence and small aircraft.
